Courchevel itself is made up of many resort villages linked together by lifts and pistes, with four main villages, an efficient bus service runs between all the resorts, the main road begins at Courchevel Le Praz (1300) and goes all the way to the highest village Courchevel (1850), also the most extravagant and expensive village.

The Courchevel calendar running from December to March is non-stop, choc-a-bloc full with fun and action events. Kick starting the season is Welcome Courchevel (9th December 2017). This is the opening event of the season where the local lift opens up giving access to 21 slopes, there is also a Marshmallow Party with live music DJ sets.

New Year’s Eve is another big event for Courchevel since it holds its very own New Year Dance Party (31st December 2017) where the resorts join together to bring in 2018 on the snow front with midnight Fireworks and then the after-party which will continue long into the night. Another exciting event is the 16th edition of the International Festival of Pyrotechnic Art (15th February 2018 to 8th March 2018), where you can witness the most beautiful show of its kind, this competition brings the world’s top pyro technicians to the mountains.
