1 – Le Grand Bornard

The Grand Bornard resort is situated in Massif des Aravis, 30 minutes from Annecy and it offers all ski lovers a warm welcome. To ease access for the handicapped, the ski area is equipped with modified ski lifts and it has a ski school with instructors who teach handiski. SETAM Val Thorens works closely with handicapped to constantly improve the ski area on high altitude. The resort also tries to constantly improve facilities for people with limited mobility. 4 – La Pierre Saint Martin

Recognized in the field of handiski thanks to the association of La Pierre Handis Pyrenees, La Pierre Saint Martin has adapted itself during the years to offer more equipment, material, and activities to people with limited mobility. Their labels “Tourism and Handicap” and “Sport and Handicap” allow everyone to be welcome. The association consists of 10 initiators, 8 ski tandem pilots, 23 dualski pilots, 21 cimgos, 3 volunteers who know sign language and have specific materials for the practice of these disciplines. There is also a ski school present in the resort with ESF teachers to teach handiski.

5 – Valberg

Accessibility, warm welcome, safety, and comfort… these are norms that are important to the ski area of Valberg. The resort offers devices that have been modified for handiski like: ski chair (FSA), double ski, skikart, and trotti-ski. There are also teachers to teach handiski.

9 – Peyragudes

The ski area of Peyragudes has been offering facilities that have been modified for people with limited mobility for a long time. Ski lifts, parking spaces near the slopes, ski equipment modified for different handicaps… Everything is being done to facilitate access to the ski area for everybody. 10 – La Plagne

With 6 ski schools with educated instructors to teach various disciplines of skiing, the resort can help everyone discover the joys of skiing. The association Antenne Handicap, with its own hardware, also offers support for people with a handicap with an extended offer including hardware, ski lessons and suitable accommodation.
