1. Tignes
Tignes is a dream resort for snowboarders. Everything is done to let snowboarders express themselves on the slopes. There is a snow park, a halfpipe, a mini boarder cross and a boarder cross for freestyle. You can also enjoy free ride sessions thanks to an incredible off-piste area. Tignes is integrated in the ski area of Espace Killy, there are 300 km of tracks available.
2. Les 2 Alpes
Most importantly, there are unique freestyle areas available for snowboard fans in Les 2 Alpes. You’ll be sure to enjoy hours of fun due to a team that concentrate on maintaining the snowparks. The snow parks are divided in levels and give you access to slope style, halfpipe and boarder cross among other things. A big advantage is that one of the snow parks (Park 3200) stays open for most of the year, including summer.

3. Avoriaz
The ski area of Avoriaz is seen as one of the homes of snowboarding because it was one of the first to offer a snow park. The Avoriaz Snowzone is now one of the spaces for new winter sports. There are three snow parks, a halfpipe, a stash and a ski cross area. The area is very well equipped making it one of the best places in the world for freestyle practice.
The ski area of Serre Chevalier is the happiness of freestyle and freeride lovers in snowboard. Snowboarders of all levels can try out crazy acrobatic movements one by one in the ski area. This is thanks to the snow park that consists of jumps, slides, and tricks. There is also a boarder cross present to test your speed limits by slaloming and taking super tight turns. The second freestyle zone, this time it’s from wood, in Serre Chevalier is secured and tagged so you can have fun on totally different modules for new sensations of sliding.
5. Les Arcs
The ski area of Les Arcs can rest on a rich history of snowboarding thanks to Régis Rolland, one of the pioneers of this practice in France. Snowboarding is part of the resort’s soul and many professionals have left their marks, seduced by the vastness and quality of the off-piste area. It is especially suitable for freeride and freestyle. It enables you to snowboard in optimal circumstances and provide you with excellent sensations. Les Arcs also has a snow park, the Apocalypse Park, suited for snowboarders of all levels.

6. Chamrousse
Chamrousse has a surface of a little bit more than 6 hectares dedicated to freestyle. It is a joy for snowboarders of all levels thanks to accessibility. You can try out all thinkable moves in Sunset Park, the resort’s snow park, in the middle of pines and with a breathtaking view on the Massif de Belledonne. Slopestyle, shred, ski cross … you can couple the different modules with different styles. There is a space especially for the little ones which will enable them to get acquainted with freestyle thanks to the beginner and intermediate spring zones, a mini boarder cross, a slalom track and a mini KL-track (Kilomètre Lancé).
7. Méribel
In the heart of the ski area of Les 3 Vallées, is Méribel, a ski resort recognized by snowboarders for its quality of facilities and the off-piste area. These spaces are recent and adjusted for all levels and they are versatile and designed to offer you as much fun as possible. You will enjoy vast spaces with soft light powder off-piste, ideal for incredible free ride sessions in the Tarentaise valley.
8. Saint Lary
The ski resort Saint Lary enjoys the advantage of being situated in the sun and is equipped with a snow park in the ski area, excellently maintained by a team of passionate riders. It offers various areas of freestyle divided in levels and they are equipped with a multitude of modules (jib, box, rails …). It is ideally located and you can surpass yourself and perfect your moves. This snow park is recommended because it organizes events for the whole season like the Pony Session (Freestyle World Cup). The resort has boarder cross as well.

9. Chamonix
Descending Vallée Blanche is a great experience but it requires extraordinary control. From the top of the Aiguille du Midi, this descent will take you through the heart of the Mont Blanc Massif where you can enjoy an incredible panorama. It requires an excellent level in snowboard because the terrain is very steep and it consists of cracks and flat areas. To make this descent it is strongly recommended to rest because it is impossible to get up the glacier.
10. La Mongie
The ski resort La Mongie is integrated in the ski area of Grand Tourmalet and it has the advantage of being an off-piste paradise in the heart of the Pyrenees. From the Pic du Midi de Bigorre, 2877 m above sea level, it is an extraordinary freeride descent. Besides a big off-piste area, the resort has a snow park which is accessible for everyone. It is divided in levels and it will satisfy all snowboarders, beginner and expert.
