Here you really can ski to your heart’s content, with 110km of slopes in the local ski area itself and with easy access to the famous skiing area of Portes du Soleil with 650km of slopes. The local ski area consists of four main parts; Mont-Chéry, Chavannes, Nyon, Le Pleney. Chavannes is the popular side which leads directly to the Portes du Soleil ski area. Yet Mont Chéry is not to be missed, reached by gondola and boasting beautiful scenery with calming runs through trees, accompanied by spectacular panoramic views of Mont Blanc.
With not much nightlife this resort is for pure relaxation and also popular with families. However there are a number of fun events lined up this winter including a visit from Father Christimas (22 to 28 December) and a special one of a kind dog sledging race, La Grande Odyssée Savoie Mont-Blanc . Other events throughout the year include the romantic I Love Mont Chéry (14th February); where couples can enjoy a unique valentines experience with an aperitif in the Mont Chéry bubble lift.
